Variety description

The plant forms a compact, dense clump about 13 cm tall (up to 25 cm with flower stalks) and up to 30 cm in diameter. Leaves are broad, entire, green with a dark central spot, often acquiring a bronze or cherry-red hue in the autumn-winter period. Vegetation type is semi-evergreen.

Flowering occurs from April to June. Small white flowers are gathered in dense inflorescences resembling bottle brushes; the variety is highly productive, with up to 250 flower stalks on a mature plant. The flower stalks are suitable for cutting.

The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9. The plant is undemanding; it is recommended to avoid moisture stagnation to prevent root rots. Used in landscape design as a groundcover, for creating borders, and for planting in rock gardens and containers in shaded locations.
