Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety has a prostrate growth habit. Leaves are broad, triangular in shape, with moderately pronounced serrations along the edges and a characteristic light-colored crescent pattern.

The plant possesses resistance to a number of diseases, including root rot pathogens Phytophthora clandestina. The low isoflavone content ensures safety for the reproductive health of livestock, and moderate hard-seededness facilitates population regeneration.

Junee is intended for inclusion in pasture mixes in regions with a temperate climate. The variety is adapted to intensive grazing by sheep and cattle due to its ability for rapid recovery and productive seed formation.
