The variety is considered one of the oldest European varieties, originating from Central Europe or Eastern France. The vine is distinguished by strong growth vigor. The clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, and quite compact. The berries are medium-sized, light green or yellowish, with thin skin.
The variety has a medium ripening period and high yield. The plant is sensitive to fungal diseases, such as downy mildew and powdery mildew. Wine from this variety is characterized by a neutral taste, high acidity, and low alcohol content. Currently, the variety is rare, found primarily in collection plantings.
