Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of 161-49 Couderc and 3309 Couderc. The bushes are moderately vigorous. The leaves are medium-sized, almost entire, round in shape, with a smooth shiny surface and slight bristly pubescence on the underside; the petiole sinus is U-shaped. Young leaves have a bronze tint; mature shoots are brown-red, glabrous, with good ripening.

The variety possesses very high resistance to the root form of Phylloxera and moderate drought tolerance. The plant exhibits resistance to lime-induced chlorosis, tolerating active lime content of up to 15–20%. At the same time, the variety is sensitive to nematodes Meloidogyne incognita and Meloidogyne arenaria. It is characterized by good propagation ability and high affinity when grafted.
