The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained in 1970. The genetic formula includes Vitis vinifera and other species such as Vitis rupestris and Vitis berlandieri. It is also known under the synonyms FR 207-70 and Freiburg 207-70.

The vine is vigorous with bisexual flowers. Bunches are large, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape. Berries are medium-sized, round, golden-green in color, with thin skin. The taste of the berries is harmonious, sweet, with a fruity aroma.

The variety possesses resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as good frost resistance. It is used as a table variety for fresh consumption, as well as for the production of juices and white wines.
