Variety description

The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid derived from a cross between MN 1094 and Ravat 262, incorporating genetic material from Vitis riparia and Vitis vinifera. The vines have medium vigor, with upright shoot growth. Clusters are small to medium-sized, loose. Berries are small, round, and dark blue or black in color.
The variety has high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to –38 °C. It features good resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, black rot, and moderate resistance to leaf phylloxera. For cultivation, the use of trellises is recommended, particularly high-cordon systems.
The grapes are characterized by high sugar accumulation (average 26%) with a pH of 2.9–3.3. Wines from this variety are characterized by a deep ruby color, moderate tannins, and aromas of cherry, black currant, blackberry, black pepper, and spices.
