The variety is the result of 1930s breeding and is also known as Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13. The vines have medium vigor, good cane maturation, and hermaphrodite flowers. The clusters are small, weighing 100–150 g, with a dense or medium-dense structure. The berries are medium-sized, weighing about 1.5 g, round in shape, and colored white-green or gray-yellow.

The plant is adapted to various soil types, is drought-tolerant, and is adapted to cool climates, although it has low frost resistance at the level of the Vitis vinifera species. The variety shows resistance to downy mildew, but is susceptible to powdery mildew and gray rot due to cluster density. Yield is characterized as regular but low, amounting to about 100–120 c/ha.
