Variety description

The variety is a natural hybrid of Garganega and Mantonico bianco. The vine is characterized by high vigor and a semi-erect growth habit. Leaves are rounded, five-lobed, deeply dissected, with a closed petiolar sinus.

Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, dense or medium-dense, often with wings. Berries are medium, rounded, with thick skin and a dense waxy bloom. Maturity group is mid-late. Yield is high and stable; shatter of ovaries and incomplete pollination are possible.

The variety is adapted to the hot Mediterranean climate, however, it is not frost-resistant. It requires canopy management. With controlled yields, wines are distinguished by freshness, moderate acidity, and aromas of citrus, herbs, and white flowers.
