The variety is of Italian origin and has historically been cultivated on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. The bunch is medium-sized, cylindrical in shape, and loose in structure. The berries are medium, oval, with a thick greenish-yellow skin that acquires a golden hue upon ripening.

The variety is distinguished by a very late harvest period, which takes place from October to November. The plant possesses resistance to fungal diseases. Wines produced from this grape are characterized by high acidity, minerality, and aromas of apricot, acacia, and honey.
