The variety is a natural hybrid of Gouais blanc and Chenin blanc varieties. The vine is characterized by medium vigor and good cane maturation. The flower is hermaphroditic. Leaves are medium-sized, almost round, three- or five-lobed, with arachnoid pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are medium, cylindro-conical, medium-dense. Berries are medium, round, white with a greenish tint, possess a firm skin and juicy pulp. The variety is relatively resistant to downy mildew and rot, but is susceptible to powdery mildew and sensitive to autumn frosts.

The grapes ripen in 150–155 days with an active temperature sum of about 3200°C. The resulting wines are distinguished by high acidity and pronounced fruit and floral aromas, which allows the variety to be used both as a varietal wine and in blends.
