Variety description

The leaves of the variety are large, round, slightly incised, with a blistered, corrugated blade and a closed petiolar sinus. Young leaves have a yellowish tint. The variety is characterized by semi-erect shoots, large bunches, and ellipsoidal berries.

The plant is very vigorous and fruitful with short pruning. The variety is late-ripening and susceptible to fungal diseases, especially gray mold. Well-adapted to hot, infertile soils.

Wine from this variety is dry, clear, and high in acidity. Historically, the variety was used in blends of local white and rosé wines.
