The vines are characterized as medium-vigor with good cane maturation. The leaves are medium, round, three- or five-lobed, and slightly dissected. The flower is hermaphroditic. The clusters are medium, often cylindrical, and of medium density. The berries are medium, round, green-yellow in color, with a thick skin and juicy pulp.

The variety possesses relative resistance to downy mildew and rot; it tolerates heat and drought well, maintaining high acidity, but is sensitive to autumn frosts. Yield is consistently high.

A wine variety used for the production of cognac and armagnac distillates, as well as light white wines with aromas of citrus, apple, and tropical fruits.
