The mutation of the Müller-Thurgau variety is characterized by a very early maturity group. Compared to the parent variety, it has a lower yield but accumulates more sugar. The resulting wines are light, with moderate acidity, while the variety is susceptible to infection by various types of rot.

As a synonym for the Bouvier variety, the plant is a natural hybrid of Pinot and Muscat Blanc. It is a very early, aromatic variety with muscat notes, used for wine production or as table grapes. The variety is winter hardy, but susceptible to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold.
