The variety Florental N (breeding number Bourdin 7705) is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained from the crossing of Seibel 8365 and the variety Gamay. Its genotype includes the species Vitis aestivalis, Vitis labrusca, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis vinifera.

The plant possesses moderate growth vigor. The leaves are round or wedge-shaped, five-lobed, with an open U-shaped petiolar sinus. The bunches and berries are medium or small in size and round in shape.

The variety ripens one week earlier than the variety Chasselas. Biological characteristics include sensitivity to gray mold and phylloxera, necessitating grafting onto phylloxera-resistant rootstocks. Wines from this variety are characterized by the absence of diglucoside-anthocyanins in the berries.
