The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing the varieties Munson (Jaeger 70) and Aramon noir. Its genetic composition includes genes from Vitis aestivalis, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis vinifera.
The berries of the variety are small, black-blue in color, and their juice has a reddish hue. The variety is characterized by early ripening, high productivity, and resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to downy mildew and powdery mildew.
