The Folignan B variety is a technical white grape obtained by crossing the Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche varieties. The berries of the variety are characterized by rich floral aromas.
The plant is prone to earlier ripening and has lower resistance to diseases compared to traditional varieties of the Cognac region. In winemaking, the use of this variety is limited to 10% of the varietal planting composition.
