The Forastera B. variety is a white wine grape culture characterized by medium or high vigor vines. The vine has the ability to adapt to various soil types, including clay and volcanic soils, and is highly compatible with phylloxera-resistant rootstocks.

The berries form dense bunches of small or medium size. The variety shows susceptibility to powdery mildew and grey mold. Genetically, it is a product of a natural crossing of the Biancolella variety with an unknown parent.

Wines made from this variety are distinguished by their freshness and good acidity. The organoleptic profile includes notes of peach, apricot, citrus, green apple, herbaceous nuances, as well as almond and mineral tones. The variety is intended exclusively for winemaking, including the production of DOC category wines.
