Variety description

The variety is a wine-making type, resistant to fungal diseases (downy mildew and powdery mildew). The maturity group is defined as very early or early, with full berry maturity reached in the second half of August or early September.

The leaf is of medium to large size, three-lobed in shape with a wavy blade and a V-shaped petiolar sinus. Bunches are cylindrical, medium to large in size, often winged. Berries are dark blue in color, small or medium, covered with a waxy bloom.

The variety is demanding regarding soil depth and quality. The resulting wine has a dark red color, a harmonious taste with fruity nuances of forest berries and blackberries, soft tannins, and medium acidity.
