The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Verdizo and Welschriesling. The plant forms rounded or wedge-shaped slightly dissected leaves with medium-density pubescence on the underside.
Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical, often winged, dense or very dense. White berries have a rounded shape, are often deformed due to bunch density, and are distinguished by the presence of a black dot at the tip and a thick waxy bloom. The pulp is fleshy-juicy with a harmonious taste.
The variety belongs to the group of relatively rot-resistant varieties. Used exclusively in winemaking.
