The Lelekuša variety, also known by the synonyms Lelehuša, Hailka, and Halahuša, belongs to the black wine grape varieties. It is a local indigenous variety of the region and the result of folk selection, adapted to natural growing conditions.

Due to the rarity of the variety and the small planting area, detailed agronomic characteristics are absent in open sources. Research work regarding this grape is focused on genetic identification, cataloging within registers, and studying the phytosanitary status in ampelographic collections.
