The variety is a technical grape with strong or moderately strong vine growth. The leaves are rounded, usually five-lobed and deeply dissected; the flower is hermaphroditic. The bunches are small or medium, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, and of medium density. The berries are medium or small, rounded, greenish-yellow in color, often with a waxy bloom and "sun tan" on the sunny side; the skin is thin.
The plant is characterized by high yield and resistance to frost and drought, while showing susceptibility to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. The variety is mid-season. Wines from this grape are characterized by freshness, moderate acidity, and floral aroma, and are often used both in single-varietal production and in blends.
