The Larião variety is a local Portuguese wine grape variety intended for winemaking. It is widely used in wine production, including traditional talha wines in the Vidigueira region, and is included in the official lists of varieties authorized in the Alentejo and Setúbal Peninsula regions.
Morphologically, the variety is characterized by medium-sized pentagonal leaves with five lobes and a medium degree of blistering. Genetic studies identify Larião as a descendant of the Hebén variety.
