Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Plantet (Seibel 5455) and Seibel 8216. Its technical purpose allows for the production of quality wines with intense coloration. The variety is winter-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -30°C.

Morphologically, the variety is characterized by slight tomentum on the tip of the young shoot, a reddish tint on young leaves, and a rounded or kidney-shaped form of mature leaves. The yield of the variety may vary depending on the year.

Landal N should not be confused with the Landot Noir variety, which is a separate hybrid with different ripening and frost resistance characteristics.
