Variety description

The vines are vigorous with a dense canopy. The bunches are small, weighing about 100 g, with a loose conical shape. The berries are pink with a purple hue and possess a specific strawberry aroma.

Due to the high pectin content in the fruits, which contributes to the formation of methanol during fermentation, the production of commercial wines from this variety is limited or prohibited in many countries, including EU member states.
