The variety is the result of a natural crossing of the varieties Merlot and Folle blanche. The ripening period is medium. The leaf is pentagonal, five-lobed, deeply dissected, with dense pubescence on the underside. Clusters are medium-sized, conical or cylindrical-conical, dense or medium-dense.
Berries are small or medium, round, white in color, covered with a medium-density waxy bloom. The skin is thin, the pulp is juicy. The variety is relatively resistant to powdery mildew and downy mildew, but highly susceptible to grey mold, is not resistant to frost, and is sensitive to drought.
Wines from this variety are characterized as light, with moderate acidity and a neutral taste. The aromatic profile may include notes of citrus, white flowers, green apple, or light herbaceous shades.
