Merlot 17 Od. is a clone of the classic Merlot variety. It is a wine grape variety intended for wine production, characterized by a high yield of approximately 21.6 t/ha. It belongs to maturity group V, which implies ripening in the period from September 16 to September 30.
The plant possesses low biological resistance, especially to low winter temperatures. Morphological characteristics of young shoots and leaves are used for ampelographic identification and certification of planting material.
