The Menoire (Menoir) variety is an early-ripening wine grape variety characterized by a short growing season. Biologically, the variety is characterized by high susceptibility to grey mold, and its clusters and berries are prone to damage by wasps and birds.
Wine made from this variety possesses a spicy aroma and taste with a moderate tannin content. Menoire is officially approved for use in Eger Bikaver wine blends, where it imparts characteristic organoleptic properties to the beverage.
