The clone was obtained via selection from the P.2 population. The main objectives of the work were to create plants with a looser cluster structure, smaller berry size, and increased resistance to rot, as well as an increase in sugar and acid content in the fruits.
This subclone belongs to technical wine varieties. Morphologically, it differs from the original P.2 clone by a lower average cluster weight and a looser structure, which has a favorable effect on the phytosanitary condition of the harvest.
