The variety has vigorous vines with rounded, five-lobed, deeply dissected leaves that are heavily pubescent on the underside. The flower is hermaphroditic. Clusters are characterized by medium or large size, conical or cylindrical shape, and range from loose to medium density.

Berries are medium-sized, rounded, greenish-yellow, sometimes with a pinkish hue when fully ripe, and covered with thin to medium skin. The variety adapts well to dry climates and chalky or limestone soils, while demonstrating high susceptibility to fungal diseases, such as downy mildew.

Wine from this variety has a neutral flavor profile with low acidity and a low potential alcohol level. These characteristics make it suitable for long aging, particularly in the sherry style, where the final taste is shaped predominantly by technological processes.
