The variety has medium vigor and a late ripening period. Bunches are characterized as medium-sized, elongated, and compact. Small rounded berries are yellow-green in color, often with a brownish tinge on the sunny side, and are distinguished by juicy, sweet flesh.
The plant is demanding regarding growing conditions: it prefers calcareous and chalky soils and requires sunny sites protected from wind. The variety is sensitive to herbicides, has poor drought tolerance, and requires careful tying due to the shoots' tendency to break in strong winds.
It is used exclusively for creating wines ranging from dry to dessert styles. Wines from this variety are noted for their pronounced minerality, notes of citrus, exotic fruits, and flowers, as well as a characteristic saline finish.
