The vine is characterized by good vigor. Leaves are medium-sized with 3–5 lobes. Bunches are pyramidal in shape, moderately dense, weighing 250–300 grams. Berries are small, spheroidal, dark blue in color with a waxy bloom and thin skin.
The variety belongs to late ripening groups, berries are ready by the second ten-day period of September. It possesses high yield and frost tolerance, however, it is prone to fungal diseases, in particular downy mildew.
Intended exclusively for winemaking. The resulting wines are characterized by moderate tannins, high acidity levels, and an aromatic profile with notes of wild berries, violets, and mountain flowers.
