The variety is characterized by a late ripening period and is often left on the vine until late autumn for natural raisin formation of the berries. The clusters are small and dense, the berries are small with very thick skin, which ensures good resistance to Botrytis cinerea.
The plant has moderate vigor and naturally low yields. The variety is used in winemaking to create dry and dessert wines that are distinguished by their structure, longevity, and aromatic complexity.
