The variety originates from Greece, is historically linked to the island of Corfu, and is also found in the Peloponnese and Euboea regions. Petrokoritho Lefko is a white form of the Petrokoritho Mavro variety and is an ancient variety that arose as a result of a natural mutation.

The plant has vigorous growth and high productivity; it is morphologically characterized by large bunches and berries. In agronomic publications, the variety is noted as being resistant to almost all grape diseases.

A wine grape variety intended for wine production. The must is distinguished by good acidity, and the finished wines possess aromas of lemon blossom and citrus, while they are recommended for consumption when young.
