This clone is the subject of programs for the study, conservation of genetic resources, and production of virus-free planting material. Its name indicates its origin from the breeding work of the SCDVV Miniș station.
The clone inherits the main characteristics of the parent variety Pinot noir, which is a technical grape with medium vine vigor, perfect flowers, and dense cylindrical bunches. The variety is intended for the production of high-quality wines and is characterized by sensitivity to diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold.
