Variety description

10 August 2026

Pinot noir belongs to the Western European group of varieties. The ripening period is approximately 100–110 days. Vine growth is characterized as moderate or weak. Clusters of the variety are of small or medium size, often cylindrical in shape; berries are small and round, colored dark blue or almost black.

The variety is considered demanding in terms of growing conditions and sensitive to weather changes, and is also prone to the development of a number of diseases. The grapes possess high aromatic concentration and are used to produce refined wines with pronounced notes of red berries, such as raspberry, strawberry, and cherry.
