This clone is characterized by improved fertility and disease resistance. An important feature is the absence of the millerandage phenomenon, i.e., uneven ripening of berries in a cluster and the appearance of small seedless berries.

The variety belongs to technical grape varieties. It was obtained through selective breeding within the Pinot gris variety population to optimize the winemaking process.
