Variety description

This clone was developed by the Hungarian scientist Márton Németh at the Research Institute for Viticulture and Oenology in Pécs. It is used in winemaking to obtain products that correspond to the typical organoleptic properties of the Pinot noir variety.

Specific agrotechnical indicators or morphological differences of the M.2 clone from other representatives of the variety are not detailed in publications. The clone inherits the general characteristics of the species, including high sensitivity to weather conditions and susceptibility to diseases due to bunch density.
