The variety is of Greek origin and is a table grape. According to the results of genetic studies conducted in 2021, it is the result of a natural cross between the Kontegalo and Heptakilo varieties.
In specialized reference books and databases, such as VIVC, this variety is more often classified under the name Aitonychi Mavro. Detailed agrotechnical characteristics, including ripening dates and disease resistance indicators, are absent in open publications.
