The variety belongs to the Chasselas (Gutedel) group. The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 3 to 6 meters depending on the training system. Clusters are medium-sized; berries are medium, round, and colored reddish-purple or pink.

The variety is classified as early or mid-early, with harvest usually occurring in the third ten-day period of August. The variety is a representative of Vitis vinifera and requires standard care, as it does not possess high complex resistance to diseases and has poor tolerance for transportation and long-term storage.

The use of the variety is multipurpose: it is used as a table grape and for wine production. The resulting wine is characterized as light and is often used in blends to improve other wines.
