The variety is autochthonous to the Balkan Peninsula, where it is widely distributed in Serbia and North Macedonia. In Bulgaria, it is known by the synonym Dimyat. The vines are characterized by strong or medium growth and high yield.
Bunches are large, medium-dense, with a weight of 150–300 g. Berries are large, round or oval in shape, light green to yellow-green in color, with juicy flesh and a neutral or refreshing taste. The variety is sensitive to frost, but possesses a certain resistance to fungal diseases.
Technical maturity occurs at the end of September. Wines from this variety are distinguished by moderate sugar content, high or medium acidity, and a delicate aroma. In rare cases, the variety may be used as a table grape.
