Variety description

The variety is a vigorous bush with long, trailing shoots. The leaves are large, three-lobed, dark green, and have a frequently corrugated surface. The variety produces practically no bunches and is intended exclusively for use as a rootstock.

The growing season is approximately 180 days. Frost resistance of the buds reaches -30°C, however, the root system withstands down to -7…-8°C. The rootstock adapts well to various soil types and withstands up to 35% carbonates, but is sensitive to waterlogging and spring flooding.

This rootstock is characterized by a high degree of graft compatibility with most European grape varieties. Its use contributes to an increase in scion yield, but it may influence the plant's metabolism, potentially reducing the concentration of sugars in the berries during very high yields.
