The name Sušac in viticulture is used as a synonym for the variety Brajda velika, which is also known by the names Sušić, Bašćan, and Stara brajda. The variety is autochthonous to Croatia and belongs to the category of wine grapes intended for winemaking.

The plant has black-colored berries. The variety is considered rare and occupies insignificant cultivation areas, amounting to approximately 1.22 ha. Detailed morphological characteristics, maturity indices, and data on disease resistance are absent in open sources.
