The variety is considered autochthonous to Central Europe, presumably originating from the vicinity of Krems in Austria. The plant is characterized by medium vigor. The leaves are small, rounded, with a V-shaped profile. The clusters are small, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, ranging from medium-dense to dense. The berries are medium-sized, rounded, and yellow-green in color.

The variety belongs to the medium or mid-late maturity groups and has an average yield. It is resistant to flower shedding, and with fungicidal protection, it exhibits resistance to major fungal diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. The grapes accumulate a medium or high amount of sugar in the must.
