The variety is autochthonous to Central Europe. The vine has moderate vigor and abundant foliage. The variety is sensitive to spring frosts and low winter temperatures; the wood matures slowly. Resistance to fungal diseases is generally low, with the exception of relative resistance to gray mold.

Bunches are medium-sized and compact; berries have a greenish-yellow color and juicy flesh. The harvest usually takes place in late September — early October. The variety is classified as a wine grape, used for the production of harmonious white wines with delicate acidity and herbal-floral notes.
