This variety is a wine grape and belongs to the local (autochthonous) grape varieties of Croatia. It is used within the framework of national programs for the conservation of the genetic diversity of cultivated varieties.

The skin of the berries of this variety possesses antioxidant properties. At the same time, detailed agronomic characteristics, such as ripening periods, disease resistance, or morphological parameters of the vine, are not recorded in specialized scientific catalogs.
