Thrapsa N is an indigenous wine grape variety cultivated primarily in the Peloponnese region of Greece. The variety is used both for producing varietal wines and in blends, and is classified as a red grape.
Studies confirm a high content of tannins and phenolic compounds in the berries, exceeding that of a number of other Greek varieties. Due to the rarity and insufficient study of the variety, its detailed morphological and agrotechnical characteristics are currently absent from open publications.
