The variety belongs to ancient Hungarian cultivars prevalent before the phylloxera epidemic. The plant is characterized by large bunches and large berries. Wine from this variety has a color ranging from magenta to pomegranate due to the low content of coloring agents in the skin.
Wine from this grape has a light structure and pronounced spiciness in the aroma, where notes of pink pepper, raspberry, blackberry, and cherry are often distinguished. The variety is rare and is cultivated in limited quantities in the Etyek-Buda region.
