The Lasina variety is indigenous to the region of Croatia around the cities of Drniš, Knin, and Šibenik. It is used as a wine variety for the production of dry and dessert wines, often in blends, and is also suitable for fresh consumption.
The plant has high vigor, and the shoots mature well. The clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or conical in shape, and medium-dense or dense. The berries are black, medium-sized, slightly oval, with juicy flesh. The yield of the variety varies from medium to high.
The variety belongs to the late maturity group, ripening in the third ten-day period of September. It has medium resistance to fungal diseases and is sensitive to shatter and weather fluctuations.
