Montclar® Chanturgue is a peach (Prunus persica) breeding selection derived from the local S-2489 line. The rootstock is characterized by high uniformity of seedlings and good resistance to chlorosis, although some studies note its susceptibility to root-knot nematodes.

Trees on this rootstock possess moderate growth vigor, being 15–20% less intensive in development than those on GF 677 rootstock. The variety is intended for cultivation on fertile soils and is widely used as a standard rootstock for apricot.
