The ADEMIR rootstock is a form of myrobalan plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.). It is characterized as a semi-vigorous plant intended for grafting stone fruit crops, primarily European plum and apricot.

The plant shows good compatibility with most plum varieties, while compatibility with apricot varies. The rootstock demonstrates high adaptability to Mediterranean conditions, including waterlogged and calcareous soils, where it exhibits resistance to chlorosis. It is propagated by hardwood cuttings.
